BERLIN (Reuters) -Thyssenkrupp CEO Miguel Lopez is confident that the group can adhere to the German government's security conditions with the spinoff of its naval ship building division TKMS, he said in an interview with the RTL and ntv broadcasters on Thursday.

"We will be able to comply with the security conditions of the German state in terms of pure, factual and substantive form," Lopez told the broadcasters.

The German government is in talks with Thyssenkrupp over the spin-off, expected to take place by the end of the year. Handelsblatt reported on Wednesday that the government had backed away from taking a stake.
