Following the new strategy announced in October, Tietoevry kicks off the year unveiling a renewed brand and identity where technology, humanity and responsibility are at the core. The six new specialized businesses, operational since 1st of January, are also renamed to reflect their distinct focus and market position.
Tietoevry kick-starts the next phase for the company and unveils a renewed brand and identity to position itself for the future. The core of the brand and identity is the new purpose: "Creating purposeful technology to reinvent the world for good".
"Our new purpose reflects the company values of trust and openness, as well as the direction the world around us is taking. We have experienced extraordinary times in the past few years - not least due to the pandemic and the conversation around climate change - resulting in change in expectations of our key stakeholders. Now more than ever it matters for companies to have a view and be active on societal issues. Technology is advancing our societies and we want to be the company that develops digital futures with humanity at the core - acknowledging also how to counter any negative effects the technological advancements may bring," says Kimmo Alkio, President and CEO of Tietoevry.
Tietoevry will keep the company name unchanged as it brings along a strong heritage and value base but introduces new distinct names for its businesses to reflect their specialized focus and market position. The following businesses that were announced as part of the new strategy, are now operational:
- TietoEVRY Business Design and Engineering is now Tietoevry Create. The business accelerates customers digital agenda to create competitive products and data driven businesses utilizing design, data and cloud technologies. This is a global business with software and data engineering at its core.
- TietoEVRY Enterprise Modernization is now Tietoevry Transform. This business drives enterprise-wide transformation across customers' business processes, applications and infrastructure. Deep customer knowledge, global cloud & data competencies andautomated operations form its foundation.
- TietoEVRY Cloud Platform Services is now Tietoevry Connect. The business is a multi-cloud platform provider with a full range of infrastructure choices at scale - ensuring security, resilience and compliance for customer's business.
- TietoEVRY Financial Services Solutions is now Tietoevry Banking. It aims to be the market-leading financial-software products, platform and services partner in the Nordics and beyond.
- TietoEVRY Health & Care is now Tietoevry Care. The business aims to reinvent the Nordic health and social care sector with modular, open and interoperable software - enhancing care personnel and citizen experience.
- TietoEVRY Industry Software is now Tietoevry Industry. The business is a portfolio of distinct competitive software and data solutions across a wide variety of industry domains. These include the public sector, pulp & paper and utilities.
