Time Warner Cable News (TWC News) and TWC News NY1 (NY1) today announced the networks’ comprehensive coverage of the only New York Democratic debate before the New York primary, featuring former U.S. Secretary of State and New York Senator Hillary Clinton squaring off against Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders on Thursday, April 14th. NY1 will kick off its in-depth coverage of the highly anticipated debate starting at 5:00 a.m. EDT with its popular News All Morning show, anchored by Pat Kiernan, which will be telecast live from the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Duggal Greenhouse – the site of the debate. In addition, NY1 will feature live onsite reports throughout its news programming all day.

TWC News and NY1 will also air a special statewide political show called The Battle for New York beginning at 7:00 p.m. EDT. The program, hosted by TWC News’ Liz Benjamin and Josh Robin, will provide a thorough preview of the upcoming debate – from a New York perspective – breaking down all the key issues and topics important to New York voters. The show will also feature political experts, special guests and exclusive interviews.

Immediately following the preview show, NY1, TWC News and CNN will televise the Democratic presidential primary debate between former Senator Clinton and Senator Sanders, live from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. EDT. NY1’s political anchor Errol Louis – who also hosts Inside City Hall – will join CNN's Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash as panelists in the two-hour-long debate to be moderated by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

Following the live debate, TWC News networks will provide viewers with a complete post-debate show that will include in-depth analysis, highlights, and exclusive interviews. TWC News' team of political experts and reporters, including Errol Lewis, Liz Benjamin, Josh Robin and others, will have live reaction from the debate venue and the “spin room.”

In addition, TWC News NY1 Noticias will air a special hour-long pre-debate edition of Pura Política at 8:00 p.m. EDT. At 9:00 p.m. EDT, the network will air the debate live with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish. Following the debate, NY1 Noticias will provide viewers with an hour-long post-debate show at 11:00 p.m. with in-depth analysis, highlights and special guests.

“Time Warner Cable News and NY1 are pleased to partner with CNN on this important debate.
