Timken India Limited announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced total revenue was INR 4,128.200 million compared to INR 4,548.000 million a year ago. Net income was INR 612.600 million compared to INR 572.200 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 8.14 compared to INR 7.61 a year ago. For the full year, total revenue was INR 16,404.700 million compared to INR 16,807.000 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,461.000 million compared to INR 1,486.400 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 32.72 compared to INR 19.92 a year ago.
Timken India Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in engineered bearings and industrial motion products. The Company is in the manufacture, distribution and sale of anti-friction bearings, primarily tapered roller bearings, other roller bearings, components, accessories, and mechanical power transmission products for a diverse customer base. It also provides maintenance contract and refurbishment services. The Company's manufacturing plants are located at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand & Bharuch in Gujarat and distribution centers are located in various parts of the country.
