CANTON, Ohio (AP) _ TimkenSteel Corp. (TMST) on Thursday reported a loss of $15.3 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Canton, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, were 31 cents per share.

The maker of steel large bars and seamless mechanical tubing posted revenue of $154 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $3.81. A year ago, they were trading at $6.30.
