Acquisition of AWS Network Competency Certification

TOKAI Communications Corporation (hereinafter "TOKAI COM"), a wholly owned subsidiary of TOKAI Holdings Corporation, today announced the acquisition of the newly established AWS Network Competency certification under the AWS Partner Network (APN) program of Amazon Web Services (hereinafter "AWS").1 Details of this announcement are described in the attachment.

TOKAI COM, a core company of the Group, provides a wide range of IT services to individual and corporate customers. This certification is a recognition of TOKAI COM's sophisticated skills and abundant experience in networking within the AWS Cloud.

TOKAI COM will continue to fully leverage the Group's data centers, wide-area fiberoptic networks, and system development capabilities to provide comprehensive ICT solutions to society.

Acquisition of AWS Network Competency Certification for Consulting Partners

- The first Certified AWS Network Partner in Japan -

Tokai Communications Corporation (President and Representative Director: Yasuhiro Fukuda; hereinafter the

"Company") announced today that it had acquired a newly established AWS Networking Competency for Consulting Partners certification in the AWS Partner Network (APN) program of Amazon Web Services, Inc. (hereinafter "AWS").

The Company, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, has already obtained a number of certifications, such as AWS Managed Service Provider and AWS Digital Workplace Competency, providing all stages of AWS services on a one-stop basis, from implementation consulting including network design, to infrastructure construction, line connection, monitoring and operation.

Immediately after the launch of the AWS Tokyo Region in 2011, the Company began providing optimal connection lines and cloud networks tailored to the AWS services and system configurations used by customers, as well as supporting the implementation and operation of AWS through services such as AWS Connection Service, AWS Installation Support Service, and AWS Operation Management Service. These achievements have been highly evaluated, and the Company became the only company in Japan, and one of only a few companies globally, to receive the AWS Networking Competency for Consulting Partners certification.

The AWS Networking Competency for Consulting Partners certification recognizes AWS partners that have deep expertise and a proven track record in building optimal cloud networks and providing a visible and controllable cloud operating environment. The Company will provide customers with the best total network for AWS use to create an environment that offers high application availability.
