Tokyo Century Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the nine months, the company's revenues were JPY 746,329 million compared JPY 698,944 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 57,313 million compared JPY 52,904 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 58,990 million compared JPY 54,265 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 35,795 million compared JPY 32,359 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 337.97 compared JPY 305.75 a year ago. The increase in revenues, operating income, ordinary income and net income attributable to owners of parent were mainly due to an increase in profit in the aviation business and the real estate business, as well as the consolidation of CSI Leasing Inc. in the three months ended June 30, 2016. Income before income taxes was JPY 59,382 million compared to JPY 54,534 million a year ago.
The company provided year end dividend guidance for the year end of fiscal 2018. For the year end, the company expects dividend of JPY 53 per share compared to JPY 53 per share a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2018. For the year, the company expects revenues of JPY 980,000 million, operating income of JPY 74,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 76,000 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 45,000 million or basic earnings per share of JPY 426.31.
