TOK supports the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial

Disclosures (TCFD)

Tokyo Ohka Kogyo Co., Ltd., (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Japan/President: Noriaki Taneichi) announced on January 7 its support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD*).

We unveiled our long-term vision, "TOK Vision 2030" in 2020, aiming to become "The e-Material Global Company" contributing to a sustainable future through chemistry. Under this vision, we will strive both to promote environmental management through the development and supply of new and existing products and to address the issue of climate change toward the goal of decarbonization.

Based on its support for the TCFD recommendations, we will strive to analyze business risks and the opportunities presented by climate change and proactively disclose information, while also helping global environmental protection through our businesses, together with all our stakeholders.

*TCFD: A task force established in 2015 by the Financial Stability Board (FSB), an international agency that aims to stabilize the financial system. The TCFD recommends disclosure of business risks and opportunities related to climate change.
