Notice Concerning Application for Selection of New Market Segment "Prime Market"

This is to provide notification that TOMY Company, Ltd. (hereinafter "Tomy") has made a resolution at the meeting of the Board of Directors held today concerning the following new market segmentation, which is scheduled to be introduced on April 4, 2022.

On July 9, 2021, Tomy received from the Tokyo Stock Exchange the results of its primary assessment of compliance with the listing maintenance criteria for the new listing category, and confirmed that it complies with the listing maintenance criteria for the Prime Market.

Based on the results, Tomy resolved at the meeting of the Board of Directors held today to select the "Prime Market" as the market segment where it will be listed after the implementation date of the new market segmentation and to apply for the selection to the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

We will proceed with the prescribed procedures for the application for the selection of the new market segment in accordance with the application schedule set by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
