Takeshima: Good afternoon, everyone. Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy schedules to participate in the Q1 Earnings Call for the Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2023, of Toppan Inc.

Attendees of today's conference call are Tetsuro Ueki, Senior Managing Executive Officer of the Electronics Division; Kazunori Sakai, Director & Senior Managing Executive Officer, Overseeing Corporate Planning Division; and Takashi Kurobe, Director & Managing Executive Officer, Finance & Accounting Division.

Today, Mr. Kurobe, Managing Executive Officer of the Finance & Accounting Division, will first provide an overview of the financial results for Q1 of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023. The explanation will be followed by a question and answer session, and the entire meeting is scheduled to last 45 minutes. Kurobe: My name is Kurobe, Managing Executive Officer of the Finance & Accounting Division. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule today to participate in our financial results conference call for Q1 of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.

First, let me explain our overall performance, which can be found on page four.

For Q1 of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023, our consolidated net sales increased 14% from the previous year to JPY391 billion, operating profit increased 65.9% to JPY13.8 billion, ordinary profit increased 100.3% to JPY22.2 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the parent company increased 52.5% to JPY13.9 billion.

In terms of net sales, our DX business, Erhoeht-X, increased mainly in the areas of hybrid BPO, marketing DX, and security business. In addition, flexible packaging sales increased in Japan and overseas. In the overseas Living & Industry business, InterFlex in the US and Max Speciality Films in India, which were acquired last year, contributed to the business performance. Overall sales increased as a result of increases in all segments, including increases in semiconductor-related products, such as photomasks and FC-BGAs, as well as TFT-LCDs.

Operating profit was affected by raw material and energy price hikes, but DX business, overseas Living & Industry business, and semiconductor-related businesses expanded. Additionally, overall profit increased due to the improved profitability of TFT-LCDs.

Ordinary profit and profit attributable to owners of the parent increased due to an increase in operating profit and foreign exchange gains.
