Designation as a Green Company Certified by the Ministry of Environment

Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc. (TAK)
In May 2021, TAK has been re-designated as a Green Company certified by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea for continuous practice of environmental management.
The designation of Green Company was granted after a thorough screening of the Gumi Plant 3 under the supervision of Daegu Regional Environment Agency. It was recognized that all employees of TAK were practicing environmental management and continuous environmental improvement based on the awareness to practice green management.
Green Company is a program designated by the Ministry of Environment which certifies a manufacturing company or organization contributing greatly to environmental improvement, such as significant reduction in pollutants, reduction in resources and energy, and establishment of a green management system. The validity of the designation is three years and TAK has been continuously certified for 20 years since its initial designation in 2001.
