Toray Industries, Inc. provided consolidated earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022. For the period, the company excepts Revenue of JPY 2,220,000 million, Core operating income of JPY 130,000 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 93,000 million and Basic earnings per share JPY 58.10.
Toray Industries, Inc. is a diversified group organized around 5 areas of activity:
- fiber and textile production (38.2% of net sales): nylon, polyester, acrylic fibers, non-woven products, etc.;
- plastic and chemical manufacture (38.2%): resins, plastic films, fine chemicals, etc.;
- engineering and environmental services (10.3%): development, construction, and assembly of industrial units, manufacture of seawater desalinization equipment, wastewater treatment equipment, etc.;
