TOKYO-Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO: 6502) today announced the cessation of development and sales of WearvueTG-1, the glasses-type wearable device announced on January 13, 2016 and scheduled to start shipping on February 29.

The decision was made under the policy of 'Review the Business Portfolio and Operational Structure,' part of the 'Toshiba Rebuilding Initiative.'

The company sincerely regrets any inconvenience that move may cause customers who have made on-line reservations for or taken an interest in WearvueTG-1.
