Toshiba Digital Solutions Corporation (hereinafter TDSL) and SimuQuest, INC. (hereinafter SimuQuest) announced that they have reached a definitive agreement to collaborate on offering TDSL's model-based development platform solution 'VenetDCP' to the automotive industry in the U.S.

(DCP=Distributed Co-simulation Platform)

Facing the pressure to accommodate the increasing complexity of automotive development, the model-based development (MBD) paradigm has earned much popularity in the automotive industry, enabling the design of embedded software to be optimized through virtual modeling and simulation, before hardware is available for testing.

TDSL released its Distributed Co-Simulation Platform 'VenetDCP' in July 2020, evolving MBD to achieve joint digital prototyping of automotive design across multiple development tools owned by different companies. Many automakers and parts suppliers have verified that the features of VenetDCP are helping them to optimize quality and productivity throughout automotive development. The verifications are not only done in Japan, but also in the U.S., Germany, China and South Korea.

In the U.S market, TDSL decided to team up with SimuQuest, an organization that specializes in MBD and software engineering services. TDSL provides the VenetDCP solution, along with its knowledge of the automotive industry to be combined with SimuQuest's know-how and local resources in the domain of MBD process consulting and engineering services. The collaboration of the two companies will maximize the effort of promoting TDSL's VenetDCP in the U.S. market and better serve U.S. automakers and parts suppliers with local support by SimuQuest.
