Patrick Pouyanné is currently the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies SE since 2015. He is also the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Total Gas & Power Business Services SAS, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of United Way L'Alliance since 2018, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies Holdings SAS, Chairman of Entreprises pour l'Environnement since 2022, Independent Non-Executive Director of Capgemini SE since 2017, Director of Ecole Polytechnique since 2018, Independent Director of Capgemini Service SAS, Independent Director of Capgemini Italia SpA, Director of Institut du Monde Arabe since 2017, Director of Institut Polytechnique de Paris since 2019, Director of Fondation La France S'Engag since 2017, and Director of Association Française des Entreprises Privées since 2014. Formerly, Mr. Pouyanné served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies EP Norge AS, Total E&P Activites Petrolieres SA, and TotalEnergies E&P New Ventures Inc. He was also the Chairman of TotalEnergies Petrochemicals & Refining NV, Total E&P Recherche Développement SAS, and TotalEnergies Raffinage Chimie SAS. Additionally, he was a Director of Compañía Española de Petróleos SA from 1997 to 2011. Mr. Pouyanné has also held positions as an Independent Director of Capgemini Technology Services India Ltd., and as a Director of TotalEnergies EP Kazakhstan SA, Total E&P Angola Ltd., TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Ltd., TotalEnergies EP Russie SA, and TotalEnergies E&P Research & Technology USA LLC. He was also a Senior Vice President-Strategy at Total E & P Qatar and served as a Chief Engineer in Corps des Mines. Mr. Pouyanné completed his undergraduate studies at Ecole Polytechnique and École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris.
