The Ford Expedition a full-size SUV was released in the North American market in the Fall. OPEN COUNTRY H/T D tires were newly developed by TOYO TIRES for use on Ford vehicles.

OPEN COUNTRY H/T D tires are based on TOYO TIRES's unique material design technology, Nano Balance Technology, and were chosen for their dual ability to meet both the wet grip and rolling resistance performance requirements of the Ford Expedition. The tires are provided to Ford by TOYO TIRES's US tire factory, Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc.

As one of its main goals, TOYO TIRES's mid-term management plan (Midterm '17) calls for sales volume of pickup truck/SUV/CUV tires in the North American market to increase by 30% from 2016 levels. TOYO TIRES will continue to increase its presence in the large diameter pickup truck category, aiming to establish firm brand position.
