Trace hold : “Trace Group Hold’ PLC will implement a second section of Third Sofia Metro Line

On 15.09.2016 'Trace Group Hold' PLC signed a contract for implementation of the construction site: Sofia Metro Extension Project, Third Metro Line - 'Botevgradsko Shosse' Blvd. - 'Vladimir Vazov' Blvd. - Central City Area (downtown) - 'Ovcha Kupel' Residential Area, First stage - from km. 4+32 to km. 4+950 with one metro station'. Employer of the public procurement is 'Metropolitan' EAD. The contract value has amount of 29 824 393, 00 BGN without VAT. Funding is within the framework of 'OPTTI' 2014 - 2020 and deadline for the implementation of the construction works is 32 months.

On the basis of the investment project of the Employer will be implement design, construction, technological equipment, full completion and commissioning of the section from km. 4 + 320 to km. 4+950 of the Third metro line with one metro station. In the section are included: Design, construction and commissioning of one underground metro station / MS5 / - structural, architectural and remaining works, railway, electro-mechanical part, including: plumbing system, HVAC, elevators and escalators, electrical installations, telecommunications / dispatcher relations, speaker - alarm system, clock system, fire alarm system, video control, system access control, security alarm system / control system and charging passengers incl. technological equipment.

This is the second sections of the Third Sofia Metro Line that will be implemented by 'Trace Group Hold' PLC. The company is already in a construction process of a section having length of 1 611, 05 meters - from km. 4+950 to km. 11+ 966, 34 - part of the same metro line - 'Botevgradsko Shosse' Depot - 'Vladimir Vazov' Blvd. - Central City Area (downtown) - 'Ovcha Kupel' Residential Area, having 75 582 000 BGN value.
