Stiltz Homelifts fleet elevated by Trakm8

Trakm8 has partnered with Stiltz Homelifts, one of the UK's fastest growing companies, bringing its market-leading RH600 dashcam and Trakm8 Optimisation platform to the business' 71-strong fleet.

Founded in 2010, West Midlands-based Stiltz designs, manufactures and installs domestic lifts to enable everyone, regardless of mobility, to fully enjoy their existing home, without needing to relocate. Since its founding in 2010, the business has grown its fleet of 71 vehicles to allow the specialist team of builders, installers and engineers to provide services directly in customers' homes.

Trakm8 is deploying its RH600 telematics dashcam, one of the most advanced 4G-enabled dashcams on the market and Trakm8 Optimisation, a comprehensive route planning, delivery management and vehicle dashboard platform.

Explaining Stiltz thinking on the move, Richard Hurst, the company's Field Operations Manager, said: 'Increasingly our stakeholders, which include insurers, senior management and customers, are demanding a continuously high-quality service from our fleet and delivering on that means turning to a reliable, established telematics partner such as Trakm8. With the new system, we have a thorough overview of our fleet's health and a comprehensive set of indicators on driver behaviour, delivering us, as fleet managers, complete peace of mind.

'Our previous telematics partner wasn't able to provide the level of data that would have allowed the business to drive steady improvements in fleet performance. Their system was also cumbersome to use, resulting in low take-up from the team. With the RH600 and Trakm8 Optimisation, we can get real-time access to vehicle footage through the incredibly easy to use interface, in some cases just minutes after a driving incident. This has allowed us to protect our drivers against spurious claims. We also expect it to reduce our insurance premiums and expenditure related to driving incidents and vehicle maintenance, while encouraging our field teams to develop safer driving habits.'

Stiltz is implementing a driver incentive program, where drivers with consistently high performance will be rewarded with retail vouchers.

Peter Mansfield, Group Marketing Director at Trakm8, said: 'We're extremely pleased to be working with Stiltz Homelifts to bring the benefits of our telematics technology to their business and customers. This is an opportunity for improvements in several areas, from driver safety and fuel usage to maintenance costs, which will be felt throughout the entire business. We're looking forward to the coming months and years of our partnership with Stiltz and excited for the opportunities ahead.'
