Trans-Siberian Gold plc is a United Kingdom-based resources company. The Company through its subsidiary, JSC TSG Asacha (TSG Asacha), holds an approximately 24 square kilometers (km) license in the southern part of the Kamchatka peninsula. TSG Asacha is the operator of the Asacha Gold Mine. The Asacha Gold Mine is located in Kamchatka in Far East Russia and is approximately 150 km to the south of the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the regional capital. The Company considers there to be exploration potential, both in the areas surrounding the Asacha Gold Mine and in the South Kamchatka area generally. The Asacha Gold Mine deposit occurs within either a caldera structure or the remains of an eroded volcano. Younger ash deposits that limit the exposure of the overlie of the area surrounding the deposit. The deposit consists of a number of north-south orientated parallel veins emplaced into the surrounding country rocks.
