Transmissora Alianca Energia Eletrica : Notice to the Market - Significant Reduction of Interest - 10/25/2017

NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica S.A. ('Taesa' ou 'Companhia'), in accordance with the article 12 of Instruction CVM 358/02, as amended, hereby announces to its shareholders, the market in general and other interested parties that, on this date, it received a letter sent by GIC Private Limited ('GIC'), informing that it reduced its equity stake below the 5% disclosure limit as of October 20 and holds 21,250,948 (twenty one million, two hundred fifity thousand, nine hundred forty eight) Taesa's preferred shares, representing 4.799% of the total preferred shares.

As informed by this letter, GIC states that:

a) it also holds 10,625,474 (ten million, six hundred twenty five thousand, four hundred seventy four) Taesa's common shares, representing 1.799% of the total common shares;

b) its interest in the Company extends only as far as maintaining a diversified trading portfolio, and thus, it has no interest in altering the composition of the control or administrative structures of Taesa; and

c) it has not entered in any agreement or contract regulating the right to vote or purchase and sell securities issued by Taesa.
