Transport Corporation of India Limited announced that Mr. Chandramauuli Sharma, Head IT and one of the Senior Management Personnel (SMP) has decided to pursue an opportunity outside the organization and consequently tendered his resignation, effective from 3rd April, 2024. In the meantime, Mr. Varun Maheshwari, who is currently Head- Centre of Excellence, has been designated as Interim Head- IT effective 4th April, 2024. Mr. Varun Maheshwari is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 12+ years of diverse experience, recently transitioning to the addition responsibility of Interim IT Head from the Centre of Excellence department. In his previous role, he specialized in steering exponential growth projects, alongside deploying cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and deep learning models to drive innovation and efficiency. His blend of financial expertise and a deep understanding of advanced technologies positions him uniquely to lead IT strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring robust
growth and technological advancement. His leadership is marked by a forward- thinking approach, leveraging his extensive experience to navigate the
complexities of digital transformation and IT management effectively.
