Transport Corporation of India Limited informed that Mr. Uday Prakash Maydeo has joined the Company as Head IT and one of the Senior Management Personnel (SMP) effective from 2nd September, 2024. Following the above appointment, Mr. Varun Maheshwari, who previously held the position of interim Head- IT and was also designated as one of the Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Company, will no longer serve as the interim Head-IT and will cease to be an SMP of the Company. Mr. Uday Maydeo has 25+ years of experience and has played roles of CTO, CIO, P&L head & Delivery head in the past.

With domain expertise in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Mr. Maydeo has worked in the areas of Enterprise IT and Digital solutions. Mr. Maydeo has leveraged change management to lead Business transformations and leveraged the partner ecosystem to maximize ROI on Enterprise IT investments. Mr. Maydeo's work area has spanned into designing business models, architecting solutions, product design and management, software development, delivery and implementations.

He has worked in multiple sectors viz. Automobile, Textiles, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Wind Energy, Metals & Mining, ITES, and EPC, industries. In addition, he has worked in countries viz., US, Canada, Germany, Poland and Hong Kong.

Mr. Maydeo is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and Indian School of Business.
