Transport Corporation of India Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2024. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 11,208 million compared to INR 9,935 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 11,314 million compared to INR 10,048 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,064 million compared to INR 870 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 13.68 compared to INR 11.21 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 13.65 compared to INR 11.17 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 21,659 million compared to INR 19,433 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 21,874 million compared to INR 19,631 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,974 million compared to INR 1,693 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 25.39 compared to INR 21.82 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 25.33 compared to INR 21.74 a year ago.
