TraWell Co signs a contract with SEA for the supply of its services at
the Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate airports.
Milan, November 8, 2022 - TraWell Co. S.p.A. (AIM Italia, Ticker: TWL), a leading global provider of protection services, baggage storage, products, and ancillary services (including the Lost Luggage Concierge service provided by Sostravel.com), announces that it has won the tender for the provision of its luggage protection and assistance services at the Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate airports for 4 years starting from December 2022.
The intercontinental airport of Milan Malpensa serves a wide range of national and international, destinations, with an extremely efficient layout for the provision of services for TraWell Co.
SEA targets 18.8 million passengers for Malpensa in 2022, compared to 28.8 million in 2019, of which 80% are international, which puts it in second place in the ranking of the major Italian airports. The return to 2019 traffic is expected for 2024.
Milan Linate's "City Airport" mainly serves frequent flyers traveling to destinations in Italy and the EU. Just 8 KM from the centre of Milan, it will be of strategic importance for the business of TraWell Co., due to the share of passengers embarking for international destinations with a stopover in Europe. The airport projects over 4.7 million passengers in 2022, ranking ninth among major Italian airports.
The two Milanese airports together recorded traffic of 32 million passengers in 2019, which corresponds to a combined traffic level equal to the 11th largest airport in Europe, while for baggage wrapping services, Milan Malpensa ranks among the ten most important in the world.
