During the period January 30 to February 3, 2023, Trelleborg AB (LEI code 213800XY16PAWG2PAD14) has repurchased in total 195,115 own shares of series B (ISIN: SE0000114837) as part of the buyback program initiated by the Board of Directors in order adapt the company’s capital structure and thereby contribute to increased shareholder value.

The share buybacks form part of the buyback program of a maximum of 25,272,178 shares of series B for a total maximum amount of SEK 5,000 million, which Trelleborg announced on April 27, 2022. The buyback program, which runs between April 28, 2022, to the day prior to the 2023 Annual General Meeting is being carried out in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (“MAR”) and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2016/1052 (the “Safe Harbour Regulation”). The objective of the share buybacks is to adapt the company’s capital structure and thereby contribute to increased shareholder value. The intent is that the repurchased shares later will be canceled by resolution of upcoming Annual General Meetings.

All acquisitions have been carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm by Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) (SEB) on behalf of Trelleborg. Following the above acquisitions, Trelleborg’s holding of own shares as of February 3, 2023, amounts to 14,726,310 shares of series B. The total number of shares in Trelleborg on the date of this press release amounts to 271,071,783, of which 28,500,000 are shares of series A and 242,571,783 are shares of series B.
