Tsukishima Kikai Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 2021. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of ¥15,544 million compared to ¥14,450 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥207 million compared to ¥513 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was ¥61 million or ¥1.40 per basic share compared to loss attributable to owners of parent ¥178 million or ¥4.12 per basic share a year ago.
Tsukishima Holdings Co Ltd, formerly Tsukishima Kikai Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the water environment business. The Company operates in two segments. The Water Environment segment is engaged in the design and construction of sludge disposal treatment plants for water filter and sewage treatment plants; the design, manufacture and sale of singular machineries; the operation, maintenance, management and repair of water filters and sewage treatment plants, as well as the digestion gas power generation project at a sewage treatment plant. The Industrial segment is engaged in the design and construction of plants for chemicals, steel, foods, liquid waste disposal and solid waste disposal; the design, manufacture and sale of crystallizers, filters, dryers, separators and among others. The other business is engaged in the printing and binding of large drawings, various documents, and the management and rental of office buildings and parking lots.
