SAN DIEGO (AP) _ TuSimple Holdings Inc. (TSP) on Wednesday reported a loss of $115.5 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 54 cents.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 50 cents per share.

The self-driving technology company posted revenue of $1.8 million in the period, which met Street forecasts.
