TV18 Broadcast Limited has received an order dated August 29, 2024 from Superintendent of GST & Central Excise, Range IV, Nungabakkam Division, Chennai, Tamil Nadu levying a penalty of INR 20,000 under Section 73 of the Tamil Nadu GST Act, 2017. The order has been passed alleging excess availment of input tax credit during the financial year 2019 - 2020. The Company intends to file an appeal against the order.
The financial impact of the aforesaid order is to the extent of the penalty levied.
