Tyro announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Prav Pala and the appointment of Emma Burke as its new CFO. Mr. Pala will finish with Tyro on 15 November 2024 following a handover with Ms Burke who will start with Tyro on 28 October. Mr. Pala is leaving Tyro after ten years to take on a CFO role at a private Australian based company. Ms Burke's appointment follows an extensive executive search process. She has over 25
years' experience in senior finance and commercial roles at large, fast-paced public
companies both in Australia and internationally. She joins from listed property group
Stockland, where she was most recently Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this she held
senior finance roles at Coca-Cola Amatil and British American Tobacco. Ms Burke is a Fellow of CPA Australia and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company
Directors. She holds a Masters of Business in Accounting and Finance, and a Bachelor of
Manufacturing Management, both from the University of Technology, Sydney.
