Business Summary

U S Liquids Inc. provided liquid waste management services, including collection, processing, recovery and disposal services. In July 2003, the Company completed the sale of its Oilfield Waste Division, its Beverage Division and its Romic Environmental Technologies business to ERP Environmental Services, Inc. In April 2004, the Company sold USL Environmental Services, Inc. d/b/a A&A Environmental of Baltimore, MD and U S Liquids of Pennsylvania, Inc. d/b/a EMAX of Pittsburgh, PA, to Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. In addition, the Company sold its Canadian subsidiary. As a result, the Company has sold all operating assets and deregistered its common stock.
