UCO Bank announces Financial Results for the Quarter and FY ended 31st Mar'2016

HIGHLIGHTS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Total business stood at Rs. 3,42,626 cr as at the end of Mar'16.

  • Global Deposits stood at Rs. 2,07,118 cr. as at the end of Mar'16.

  • Global Advances of the Bank stood at Rs. 1,35,508 cr. as at the end of Mar'16.

  • As on 31.03.2016, Retail loan portfolio registered a sharp growth of 11.30% YoY to reach

    Rs. 20,834Cr. on the back of 17.89 % growth in Home loan.

  • Priority sector advances increased by 5.01% YoY to reach Rs.55948 Cr. as on 31.03.2016 from Rs. 53278 Cr. a year ago.

  • Agriculture credit stood at Rs.19593 Cr. as on 31.03.2016.

  • Loan to MSE Sector as on 31.03.2016 grew 1.52% YoY from Rs.25545 Cr. to Rs.25935 Cr.

  • Total income in the 4th qtr. of FY15-16 was Rs. 4745.48 Cr
  • During the 4th Qtr of FY15-16, Operating Profit was Rs. 567.66 Cr. while for entire FY 15-16

    the figure was Rs. 3603.39 Cr.

  • For the 4th Qtr of FY15-16 there was Net Loss of Rs. 1715.16 Cr. while for the entire fiscal 15-16 there was Net Loss of Rs. 2799.25 Cr. on account of higher provisioning
  • Total provision & contingencies in the 4th qtr. of FY15-16 was Rs. 2283 Cr as against Rs.1018 Cr. a year ago.
  • Provision Coverage Ratio increased to 53.87% in the 4th qtr. of FY15-16 from 52.65% a year ago.

  • In Q4 FY'16, Total Interest Income stood at Rs. 4357.68 Cr.

  • As on 31.03.2016, GNPA ratio stood at 15.43% against 10.98 % as on 31.12.2015 while NNPA

    ratio stood at 9.09% against 6.51 % as on 31.12.2015.

  • The CRAR as on 31.03.2016 stood at 9.63% as per Basel III.
