UFO Moviez India Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 512.5 million compared to INR 260.2 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 521 million compared to INR 274 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 130.2 million compared to INR 282.1 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 4.48 compared to INR 9.95 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 4.48 compared to INR 9.95 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 1,042.7 million compared to INR 541.3 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 1,067.4 million compared to INR 579.9 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 679.6 million compared to INR 921 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 23.35 compared to INR 32.49 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 23.35 compared to INR 32.49 a year ago.
UFO Moviez India Limited is engaged in providing digital cinema services. The Company enables cinema digitization with satellite technology in India. It also makes an in-cinema advertising platform, with approximately 1.8 billion viewers annually through 3400+ screens across 1150+ cities. It is focused on digital cinema services and sale of digital cinema equipment. Its businesses include Theatrical Business, Advertising Business and Other Initiatives.
