UFP Industries, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 26, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was USD 2,489.31 million compared to USD 1,825 million a year ago. Net income was USD 189.7 million compared to USD 103.31 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.01 compared to USD 1.67 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3 compared to USD 1.67 a year ago.

Packaging segment is comprised of business units, such as Structural Packaging, PalletOne, and Protective Packaging Solutions. Construction segment is comprised of business units, such as Factory-Built Housing, Site-Built Construction, Commercial Construction, and Concrete Forming. Its ProWood business units manufactures and sells treated lumber products, including decking, fencing, and lattice, as well as decorative and functional lawn and garden products to building products retailers.
