Ukrnafta increases gas production at a time of high demand

According to operational data, Ukrnafta increased its natural gas production to 94.5 mln m3 in January 2022, which is 3.6% and 0.7% more than in January and December 2021, respectively. In January of this year, the Company produced 130.5 ktonnes of oil and condensate, up 5.6% in January of last year and 2.6% in December 2021. The growth of production is primarily due to the efficient operation of the existing stock of wells and the reduction of equipment downtime. In addition, the put into operation oil well №103 at the Verkhnomaslovetsky field in the Skole district of Lviv region had a positive effect.

Ukrnafta is making efforts to increase hydrocarbon production, particularly of natural gas. This is an important task both in terms of supplying the domestic market with natural gas during high seasonal demand and for strengthening the country's energy independence in the long term.
