LFPI Gestion acquired a minority stake in Umanis SA (ENXTPA:ALUMS) from Laurent Piepszownik and Olivier Pouligny on June 29, 2018. As part of the transaction, an ad hoc created holding company has been transferred the 13 million shares of Umanis (70% of the capital) held by, Laurent Piepszownik and Olivier Pouligny, and subsequently a stake of between 40% and 49% of this holding company has been sold to LFPI on the basis of the transfer price of €12 per share. In the end, the investor paid between €62.7 million and €76.8 million to seize this stake. Following the deal, Umanis will remain owned and controlled by Laurent Piepszownik and Olivier Pouligny. This operation was allowed for a derogation from the obligation to file a draft public offer granted by the AMF.
