Umicore announced on Thursday that US investment bank JP Morgan Chase had exceeded, then fallen below, the threshold of 3% of its voting rights in recent days.

Last Friday, JP Morgan exceeded the 3% threshold, rising to 3.23% of the direct voting rights and equivalent financial instruments of the Belgian materials and recycling technology specialist.

On Monday, the New York firm held just 3.01%, before falling back below the 3% threshold the following day, to finally hold just 2.67% of total direct voting rights and financial instruments.
