Its ProCare Laboratory Obtains Government's HOKLAS Accreditation

Hong Kong, 20, June 2022 -UMP Healthcare Holdings Limited ("UMP" or the "Group", SEHK: 722) is pleased to announce that, in addition to the earlier purchase of the advanced imaging and multi-service medical facilities at One Chinachem Central, the Group willpurchase an additional physiotherapy and oncology medical facilities at 12/F and 20/F, respectively,at the same building ("the Second Purchase"). Upon the completion of the Second Purchase, by includinga new oncology centre and a newmultifunctionalphysiotherapy centre to form part of the 6-storeymulti-service medical centre, UMP will establish its presenceat one of the most strategic locations in Central.

New oncology and physiotherapy centres open with the latest acquisition and lease

The medical facilities in the Second Purchase include(i) physiotherapy-used focused shockwave therapy machine, high-intensity laser machine,and electrotherapy and ultrasound equipment; (ii) chemotherapy cleanroom for oncologytreatment; and (iii) other physiotherapy and oncology equipment. UMP will also rent the whole 12/Fand 20/Fof the same building, where the medical facilities purchased in the Second Purchase are located.

UMP will open anew oncology centreand new physiotherapy and wellness centre, addingtoabroaderspectrum of service provisionsituated in the heart of Central,including imaging services, day surgery, physiotherapy, preventive check-up services, general and specialist consultation, toprovide an intimatetotal solution to the needed patients. The new centres bring a patient-centric approach to providing comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation care through a multi-disciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, radiation therapists, and medical physicists, along with the newly purchased medical facilities.

Laboratory accredited by HOKLAS gains advantages forgovernment and commercial project tenders

In addition, ProCare Medical Imaging and Laboratory Centre ("ProCare Lab"), an indirect wholly-ownedsubsidiary of the Group, has been recognized by the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) under the Hong Kong Government's Innovation and Technology Commission on 1 June this year. This is testament to our capability to provide clinicians and patients, a qualitymedical testingservice ofaworld-known ISO 15189:2012 standard regarding our laboratory standards, management, and technical requirements.

Besides, with this certification, the Group is now eligible to take partin the bidding of medical laboratory services tenders of the Hong Kong government, including testing of infectious diseases, clinical microbiology, haematology,and serology. It is also expected that the Group would become one of the favourable service providers to a wide range of corporate clients.
