Unicaja Banco supports one more year the Agrupación de Congregaciones y Hermandades de Gloria de Málaga, through the renewal of their collaboration agreement, under which the bank puts at the disposal of the brotherhood's association a comprehensive and specific financial service, on advantageous terms, to facilitate the development of their activities and projects, especially after the crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The agreement includes a full range of financial products and services, to facilitate the development of the work of the Agrupación de Congregaciones y Hermandades de Gloria de Málaga, as well as to meet the needs of both the Association and its 23 brotherhoods and their staff.

The agreement has been recently signed by Unicaja Banco Regional Manager for Malaga, Agustín Sánchez, and by the President of the Agrupación de Congregaciones y Hermandades de Gloria de Málaga, Juan Márquez.

This agreement, which reinforces the close collaboration between both institutions since 2013, falls within the actions that Unicaja Banco develops aimed at the promotion and dissemination of traditions in general and, in particular, of the work of brotherhoods as the repositories of social, religious, anthropological, cultural, historic and artistic values, and as generators of a relevant social, cultural and charitable activity in the city.

The products and services offered include: financing for investment; current accounts with special conditions; specific services to manage the receipts issued by the Association or tax payments; services to manage payments and collections and Unicaja Banco digital banking, such as UniVía or UniPay Bizum, to be used in smartphones or tablets.

Unicaja Banco also puts at the disposal of the Association and its brotherhoods a wide range of insurance products, advised and managed by Unimediación (insurance company of Grupo Unicaja Banco), offering as well the possibility of subscribing collective or individual insurance policies for premises or events, and to cover eventualities (cost insured in case of cancellation of the procession for reasons beyond their control), damage to the Brotherhoods' Houses (casas hermandades) or museums, liability, or a free-life insurance.

In addition to offering a broad range of individual pension plans, this agreement will also allow employees, SMEs and freelancers related to this Association to benefit from Unicaja Banco Payroll Service.

Agrupación de Congregaciones y Hermandades de Gloria de Málaga

The Agrupación de Congregaciones y Hermandades de Gloria de Málaga took its first steps in the year 2000 and then, fostered by 12 brotherhoods, was established as such two years later. It currently groups 23 institutions.

Its main activities include, in addition to the organization of processions, lectures, posters, cults and cultural events. The Association focuses on disseminating the activities of its members, and works to meet the needs that may arise during the development of their actions.
