UniCredit SpA appointed Alfredo Maria De Falco head of corporate and investment banking for the Americas, effective Oct. 1. De Falco, who will be based in New York, will report to Olivier Khayat and Gianfranco Bisagni, co-heads of the CIB division. He will also become co-branch manager of UniCredit Bank AG's New York branch, a role in which he will report to Michael Diederich, head of CIB for Germany. De Falco, who was most recently head of the CIB network for Italy, will take over from Giovanni Ronca, who was promoted to co-head of the group's Italian network alongside Andrea Casini. Ronca will focus on the corporate side of the Italian network. Gianluca Savoldi, head of financing and advisory for Italy, will succeed De Falco as head of the CIB Italy network, effective Oct. 1. Savoldi will report to Vittorio Ogliengo, head of CIB for Italy. Goffredo Guizzardi, head of acquisition finance and capital structure advisory, will succeed Savoldi, also as of Oct. 1. Guizzardi will report to Ogliengo and to Richard Burton and Andreas Mayer, global co-heads of financing and advisory.
