Union Pacific Corp. Wednesday said it was expecting a decline in volume in its second quarter and also said it would withdraw some of its full-year guidance.

Union Pacific expects volumes to fall by about 25%, Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Hamann said in a presentation posted on the company's website.

The railroad company also said it was withdrawing its full-year guidance on headcount, operating ratio and share repurchases, and also said the volume outlook makes operating ratio improvement unlikely.
