UNITED MALT SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2021
onlyOur commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace remains a priority and we are pleased to report continued progress towards our overall company-wide target of 35% female participation by 2025.
Our report also details the initiatives we have implemented across our business to reduce energy and water consumption and emissions from our production facilities. This includes the new Arbroath facility, which incorporates plant control systems that have been designed to incorporate energy
usemonitoring technology and process control that allows both consistent production quality and data-led analysis of energy consumption.
We continued to support the local communities where we operate through corporate donations, sponsorships,
f ndraising and volunteering activities. Collectively, United Malt donated approximately $100,000 in FY21 to a variety
of community and charitable causes, including cash donations
