Univest Financial Corporation announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 46.757 million compared to USD 43.518 million a year ago. Net income was USD 20.875 million compared to USD 2.085 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.71 compared to USD 0.07 a year ago. For the half year, net interest income was USD 92.171 million compared to USD 85.986 million a year ago. Net income was USD 53.478 million compared to USD 2.923 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.82 compared to USD 0.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.81 compared to USD 0.1 a year ago.
