ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) _ US Foods Holding Corp. (USFD) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $70 million.

The Rosemont, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 27 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 67 cents per share.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 67 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $8.83 billion in the period, topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $8.78 billion.

US Foods expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.95 to $2.25 per share.
