UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 155.477 million compared to TWD 92.250 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 24.020 million compared to operating loss of TWD 3.841 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 19.739 million compared to net loss of TWD 3.169 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.51 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.08 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.51.
UVAT Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the provision of coating original equipment manufacturing (OEM) services and the manufacture and sale of vacuum sputtering equipment. The Company's coating OEM services include the surface coating processing of consumer electronics, anti-electro-magnetic interference (EMI) coating processing, various of optical coating services, non conductive vacuum metallization (NCVM) and high- and low-temperature indium tin oxide (ITO) coating services, among others. Its vacuum sputtering equipment includes in-line continuous sputters, plasma surface treatment machines, solar equipment, touch panel coating equipment and other types of coating equipment, among others. The Company distributes its products in domestic markets and to overseas markets.
