Chosen to represent the Lawewu YPS Elementary School, a school financed by Vale in Indonesia, Naeva has already won the semifinals against schools from South Sulawesi and is advancing to the grand final with elementary, high school, and university students of major schools from other provinces of Indonesia. the results were announced on Nov. 20th, Naeva did not win.
The 11-year old student talked confidently about the importance of water for human beings, its distribution on the planet and the importance of stepping up efforts to preserve this resource in face of the global water crisis. She produced the video together with professors from her school.
