Vale informs on estimate update

Rio de Janeiro, October 17th, 2023 - Vale S.A. ("Vale" or the "Company") informs that it has updated its production volume estimate for copper in 2023, and that this must be considered as such:

Vale clarifies that the information provided in this document represents only an expectation, hypothetical data that by no means constitute a promise of performance by Vale and/or its management.
