Valmet has supplied analyzers and Industrial Internet solution to Hansol Paper in South Korea. The delivery includes two Valmet Fiber Furnish Analyzers one to Janghang mill and one to Cheonan mill and, a Valmet Brightness Measurement to Shintanjin mill. This delivery is the foundation to further develop Hansol Paper's Smart Factory with Valmet Industrial Internet (VII) solutions.

The delivery has been completed as scheduled and analyzers have started up smoothly in November 2020.

Information about the delivery

Valmet's delivery scope to Hansol Paper's Janghang and Cheonan mills includes Valmet Fiber Furnish Analyzer that will be utilized in refining control, and Valmet DNA Historian, which aims to improve the pulp quality and reduce variation through refiner control.

For Shintanjin mill, the targets are to reduce the broke and improve the cost efficiency. Process insight will be gathered with VII Data Discovery, following the installation of Valmet Brightness Measurement with color control.
