Vamos Locação de Caminhões, Máquinas e Equipamentos S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the quarter, the company announced sales was BRL 665.582 million compared to BRL 329.866 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 100.031 million compared to BRL 39.256 million a year ago. For the half year, sales was BRL 1,185.998 million compared to BRL 625.378 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 173.272 million compared to BRL 75.829 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.727 compared to BRL 0.396 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.72682 compared to BRL 0.39569 a year ago.
Vamos Locacao de Caminhoes, Maquinas e Equipamentos SA is a Brazil-based public company which carries out its activities through three segments: truck, machinery and equipment rental; truck, machinery and equipment dealerships; and truck customization. The truck, machinery and equipment rental segment comprises fleet outsourcing through the leasing of trucks, machines and equipment and fleet management. The truck, machinery and equipment dealership segment comprises the commercialization of new and pre-owned trucks, machinery and equipment, as well as parts, machines and accessories, provision of mechanics, bodywork and painting services. The truck customization segment comprises customization services, and customized solutions for heavy vehicles.
