Van Lanschot announces the intention of its Supervisory Board to nominate Ms Jeanine Helthuis as a member of the Supervisory Board. She will succeed Truze Lodder, who has indicated that she is not available for reappointment at the end of her second term of office.

Positions previously held by Jeanine Helthuis include chairperson of the board of Monuta and member of the Board of Directors and CEO for Retail Banking at Fortis Bank Nederland. She is currently supervisory director at Prorail. She has completed the suitability screening carried out by the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank).

The proposal to appoint Ms Helthuis will be tabled at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, the details of which will be published in due course on the website, www.vanlanschot.nl/agm:
