Windar Photonics plc announced that it has received a new test order under the Company's global distribution agreement with Vestas Wind Systems A/S for deployment with an Independent Power Producer in Australia. The order, for an initial 5 units and an option for a further additional 43 systems, is based on the earlier successful demonstration in North America showing material yaw-alignment optimisation, providing proven annual energy production increases of more than 3% and the reduction of wind turbine loads and alarms resulting in less downtime in high wind speed periods. These results were verified by Vestas, the Independent Power Producer and internal Windar analytic reports.

Following the orders announced at the end of 2021 for wind turbine parks in North America, the Company is encouraged to see the interest in its optimization solution for the Vestas V82 turbine platform now being further followed by Independent Power Producers in Australia. Windar will continue to work with its partners and customers to offer the recently optimised power improvement solution for the V82 and NM82 wind turbine models, of which there is roughly 6GW of installed capacity currently in operation globally.
